Eric J. Mead graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2005.  He then attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated in 2008. He has been admitted to the State Bar of Michigan Since November of 2008.

Eric J. Mead worked for the Genesee County Probate Court as a Judicial Assistant from 2008 until 2011.  He joined the office of Maritn A. Tyckoski and has since been in private practice working with all forms of Elder Law and Probate Law including Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Guardianship, Conservatorship, Trustee Services and Government Benefits Planning.

Eric J. Mead is a member in good standing with both the State Bar of Michigan and the Genesee County Bar Association. He currently serves as the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Genesee County Bar Association and the Chairperson of the Probate Section of the Genesee County Bar Association.  He is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Elder and Estate Planning Section, Probate Section, Social Security Section, Animal Law Section and currently serves as a board member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Agricultural Law Section.

Eric J. Mead is also active in the community and is affiliated with several community and service organizations including Quality Living Services (QLS), Legal Services of Eastern Michigan (LSEM) and the Village of Otter Lake Planning Commission.
