Otis W. Stout

Otis W. Stout graduated with his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1972. He attended John Marshall University (University of Illinois-Chicago) before transferring to Thomas M. Cooley Law School. In 1974, Otis became apart of Cooley Law School’s first graduating class. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1976.

Otis W. Stout started his legal career working for Judge Harvey McAra as a Law Clerk in the Genesee County Circuit Court.  He entered private practice in 1976 with his office in Clio, Michigan and worked within the areas of Municipal Law, Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Estate Administration.  He served as the City/Township Attorney in several municipalities including the City of Clio, City of Montrose, Vienna Township, and Thetford Township.
